Home Economics for Today

Home Economics is a term that was used in the "old days"(in Lady Virginia's time) to describe the "science" of home management. It was what "housewives" did to run the household, plan, prepare and serve healthy attractive and appetising meals on a regular basis and maintain the household within the budget available. Now, for some reason, these tasks and terms have become demeaning and scorned. Why, we ask? These tasks are very complex and important and we at Lady Personified will endeavor to introduce you to the valuable treasures of wisdom that were taught in Home Ec classes. And, at the same time, we hope to elevate this "science" to a more fitting level of recognition. As always, should you wish to comment, we urge you to contact Lady Virginia directly.
